#166 The week link
In the Zordik language, the seven days of the week start with Ardik (Monday). The other days are Bordik, Curdik, Deldik, Endik, Fordik and Gandik, but not exactly in that order.
In her Zordik class, teacher Miss Taik asked the students to recite the days in order, starting with Ardik. Sven called them out in alphabetical order.
鈥淵ou got three in the right place,鈥 said the teacher. 鈥淜im, you have a go.鈥
鈥淒eldik, Bordik, Ardik, Curdik, Endik, Gandik and Fordik.鈥
鈥淭hree right again. Help them, Raki.鈥
鈥淕andik, Deldik, Curdik, Bordik, Ardik, Fordik and Endik.鈥
鈥淯nbelievable 鈥 you only got three right as well. Still, you now have all the information you need to work out the days of the week in order.鈥
What are they?

Solution

Joining the centres of the four circles gives a square with sides of 10 metres.
As can be seen in the diagram below, the three quarter-circles b, c and d in the square correspond to the three quarter-circles B, C and D outside the square, in the area enclosed in red.
This means that the total area outlined in red fits exactly inside the square and is therefore 100 square metres.
