Lauren Beukes
Bio
Lauren Beukes is the author of the bestselling science fiction novels The Shining Girls, which has been adapted by AppleTV+ starring Elisabeth Moss, and Zoo City, which won the prestigious sci-fi prize, the Arthur C Clarke award, in 2011. Her books, which include Moxyland, Broken Monsters and Afterland, have been published in 24 countries. She is also a screenwriter, journalist, documentary maker and comics writer.
