Web pages containing information that might be useful to terrorists, such as
maps, are vanishing from many private and government sites in the US. Some
government sites have vanished completely or only grant access with a password.
The Federation of American ¿ìè¶ÌÊÓÆµs has removed pages listing potentially
sensitive information, such as the locations of American nuclear weapons. “If
sanity prevails, much of this information will be returned to public access,”
says Steven Aftergood of FAS.
