Pi is the tale of a mathematician whose theory allows him to gaze upon the
face of God—and threatens to destroy him. This overexposed black-and-white
movie, directed by Darren Aronofsky, seems like a weird hybrid of Eraserhead and
A Brief History of Time, without the originality of the former or the
intelligence of the latter. Enjoy the popcorn.
