Ward off the heat of high summer with QwikBoost, a coolant additive from
Mainstream Engineering. The Florida company claims the additive increases the
cooling power of new air conditioners by 10 per cent. The additive is a liquid
that is attracted to R-134a, the environmentally friendly but not very efficient
coolant used in newer air conditioners.
