movies with scientific or pseudo-scientific themes include Paramount’s Deep
Impact and New Line’s Lost In Space, and they are, Netropolitan is assured by
luvvie friends, “doing good box-office”. But no movie stands alone these days.
Each one comes with its own website, something the studios are increasingly
seeing as important promotional tools.
