The University of Melbourne has introduced a computerised system
to match the requirements of those seeking employees with the qualifications and
skills of its graduates. The system, called GradMatch, scans
r茅sum茅s to extract up to 80 skills from the details of each
possible candidate. The employer is provided with a ranked list of candidates
depending on the match of skills and the vacancy. The system also stores
documents such as references that can be electronically transmitted to the
employer. More information is available from the Net address
