Pi Day is an annual celebration of the world’s favourite transcendental constant, held each year on the 14th day of March – or 3.14 in the US date format. The irrational number, defined by the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, has been calculated to 13 trillion digits, but no pattern in those has yet emerged.

We are celebrating the day by giving away a Kano Complete Bundle to one lucky èƵ reader – that’s a Kano computer running on Raspberry Pi 3 plus a screen kit, which includes a 10.1 inch HD display. With Kano, anyone can make a computer and learn to code.

  1. This competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over, except for employees of Reed Business Information Limited and any company involved in the sponsorship of the competition.
  2. Entry is open only to subscribers and registered users. Submit your entry, including your name and email address, using the entry form on this page.
  3. Entries must be submitted in the name of a single individual. The individual submitting the entry is the only individual who will be entered into the competition.
  4. Every entrant will be entered into a draw to win a Kano Complete Bundle. The prize cannot be exchanged and no cash alternative will be offered.
  5. Only one entry is permitted per person. No purchase is necessary.
  6. èƵ shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunication networks, internet access or otherwise, preventing entry at this website.
  7. Entries must be received by 28 March 2017 at 23:59 GMT. Entries made after this time will not be counted.
  8. The prize draw will be conducted at 110 High Holborn, London WC1V 6EU, UK. The first eligible entry randomly selected by èƵ will be awarded the Prize. Every effort will be made to notify the winner by email by 4 April 2017. The name and email address of the winner will be passed on to Kano in order to fulfil the prize. Acknowledgement via email is required from the winner before their name and email address will be passed on. If for any reason a winner does not respond to the email requesting acknowledgement within 10 working days, èƵ may draw an alternative winner.
  9. Submitting your entry constitutes your consent for us to use your entry, name and photos (if applicable) for editorial or publicity purposes.
  10.
