Anatomical pioneer

Leonardo da Vinci was very secretive about his work and famously wrote his notes in mirror writing. Most of his anatomical drawings are covered with his annotations as he reasoned about the form and function of human anatomy.
His writings have been deciphered and translated and are available for exploration in a new iPad app to accompany the exhibition at Buckingham Palace as well as the exhibition catalogue. Here鈥檚 a taster of what the Renaissance man had to say, with the pictures he was writing about.
