IN THIS engaging documentary, we follow Mark Stepanek as he deliberates whether or not to get a radio frequency identification, or RFID, chip implanted in his hand.

Tagged presents all sides of the debate, from the executives at Verichip who sell RFID implants for use in people and RFID advocates who tout their health and safety benefits, to Christians who believe that RFID chips are the 鈥渕ark of the beast鈥 predicted in the Book of Revelation and those who worry about government surveillance.

In the end, Mark decides that RFID chips are cool, as they allow him to unlock doors and operate various gadgets. Yet the film-makers leave us thinking more deeply about what happens when privacy becomes a commodity.
