What happens to your garbage once you send it out into the world? Society has put enormous focus in the past decade on understanding how stuff gets to our stores and homes, and how to make this supply chain as green as possible. But that鈥檚 only half the story. In comparison, we know next to nothing about where our stuff goes to die and how it gets there.
That鈥檚 all about to change. Researchers at MIT have designed small electronic tracking devices (to find out more, see: Trash trackers: The secret life of garbage) and we鈥檇 like you to help us deploy them in the UK鈥檚 garbage stream.
