A leak in the space shuttle Endeavour鈥檚 cabin has been fixed after a faulty valve was replaced, but the work has delayed the shuttle鈥檚 planned launch by a day, to Wednesday.
The leak was detected on Sunday and on Wednesday its source was pinpointed as one of two pressure-relief valves designed to keep the crew cabin from becoming over-pressurised.
Workers replaced the valve with another from the shuttle Atlantis on Thursday, then performed a test to check the leak. 鈥淲e had another crew cabin leak check and it went fine. I think that problem鈥檚 behind us,鈥 NASA spokesperson George Diller told 快猫短视频.

But the fix put pressure on NASA鈥檚 preparations for launch: 鈥淏etween having to work that problem, and the weather hasn鈥檛 been good to us at all, it鈥檚 tightened up the schedule,鈥 he said.
Now, the shuttle Endeavour is slated to blast off from Florida鈥檚 Kennedy Space Center for the International Space Station on Wednesday, a day later than planned. The official countdown to the launch will also be postponed a day, to Sunday, said a NASA spokeswoman.
