IT was the brilliantly opportunistic title that leapt out at me. Inside I found a crib-sheet for cynical funding applications, with implicit tips on just how far you might stretch the fundable buzzword 鈥渘anotechnology鈥�. If you need Nanotechnology and Homeland Security (out in November), your bank manager knows who you are. And the award for best picture caption opportunity missed goes to: 鈥淣anopants in action鈥�.
There is little new about nanotechnology here, however. For that, you may want to read the same authors鈥� Nanotechnology: A gentle introduction to the next big idea.
