latest tunes. Joseph Tihngang of Reading, Berkshire, wants to bring music to
infants on the move, but without the need for expensive batteries. He has
designed a buggy with a bicycle-style generator fitted to one of the wheels
(GB 2 345 596). This powers a cassette deck or CD player. All the parent has to do
is push a little harder. 鈥淭his way everyone is kept happy, parents and children
alike,鈥� says the inventor. If music on the move isn鈥檛 required, a cradle on the
pushchair handlebar could be used to charge cellphone batteries.
