Seiko Epson of Japan wants to make life easier for warehouse workers who have
to struggle to find the right spare part among thousands of similar components
(EP 827 337). The staff wear transparent visors in which the reflection of a
tiny TV screen appears. A computer transmits a picture of the required spare
part, making it easier for workers to pick the right one as they wander the
aisles. The visor also has a microphone and earpiece so that the worker can call
up images, ask for advice and report success.
