AN outbreak of Ebola haemorrhagic fever that has killed at least 19
people in the West African state of Gabon is now under control, says the
WHO.

undergoing treatment for the disease, which is fatal in 70 to 80 per cent of
cases. A further 86 people suspected of having had contact with the virus are
under investigation at a hospital in northeast Gabon. 鈥淣o one suspected of
having had contact with the virus has left the country,鈥� says a WHO
spokesman.
